Responsibilities
Design and architect secure, scalable, maintainable enterprise solutions
Develop, test and document features that meet needs of the business in a full stack approach. Front end UI through to backend application services and database.
Work closely with team members, product owners and others to ensure delivery of quality, high value features
Essential experience and skills:
NodeJS/Ruby/Python (3+ years), AngularJS (1 and 2 ), React, D3.js,
Proven skills in MySQL, Performance Tuning handling and maintaining large amounts of data
API integrations (Google, Facebook, Ebay, PayPal etc)
Experience in building RESTful APIs
Version Control like Git,TFS
Front End with HTML/SASS
Front-end Framework (Bootstrap would be fine)
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
SQL, MySQL, No-SQL
BDD/TDD, using Minitest for testing purposes
Azure/AWS or other cloud infra deployment Including VPS deployment
Fearless about learning new technologies and technical approaches to application development, presenting to architect, taking risk
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Unix, dev-ops knowledge
