Lab Technician

Job Description

• Perform laboratory tests related to cardiology and diabetes, ensuring accuracy and timely results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment following proper protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare and label specimens for analysis.
• Analyze test results and document findings in the medical record system.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• May assist with collecting blood samples from patients.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory procedures and technologies.

Job Specification

• Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred however, freshers are encouraged to apply. 
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques used in cardiology and diabetes testing.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
