JAVA DEVELOPER Mid Level

Job Description

• Built cross-departmental relationships to manage project/support objectives, prioritize deliverables, determine implementation strategy and coordinate assignment of resources in developing/AMC supporting software.
• To monitor progress and provide updates to the Project Manager.
• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Regularly provide report of project status to team members, clients, and executive management.
• General Administration, monitoring, supervision and coordination with client/vendors for system and network infrastructure.

Job Specification

• Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• Well versed in J2EE application development with focus on EJB3, JPA2.1, Spring MVC 3, Spring Security 3, Hibernate 4 and Jasper Reporting 5.5.
• Strong command in JSP, HTML, CSS and Java script libraries like JQuery.
• Comfortable with MSSQL 2008 and above.
• Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), JBoss Fuse in particular.
• Knowledge of JBoss EAP 6.2, JBoss Fuse, SSO, IDM Concept is an asset.
• System knowledge for any installations, configuration and system setups preferred.
• Linux knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to carry on a business conversation at all levels.
• Previous experience working on government projects is a plus point.
• Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solution.
