Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients, we are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Consultant to join our team. This position is based at our Kathmandu office and involves overseeing all technological aspects of our organization.
An IT Consultant is a knowledgeable professional who helps businesses develop, integrate, and maximize the value of IT systems. They provide strategic advice, troubleshoot technical issues, and offer expertise in areas such as hardware, software, networks, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of computer systems, networks, and servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Understanding customer requirements and business objectives
- Providing strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals
- Managing IT initiatives and collaborating with in-house technical staff
- Email and Communication Systems:
- Manage and maintain email systems, ensuring smooth communication across the organization.
- Provide support for telephones and other communication tools.
- Website and Domain Management:
- Ensure the functionality and security of our organization's websites and domains.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement updates and improvements.
- Online Booking via – Website and Apps
- Update Apps and promote.
- Update content and promote both website and Apps
- Branch Support:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all technology-related issues across our branches.
- Coordinate remote support for head/branch offices.
- Revise existing systems and suggest improvements
- Web Applications and SEO:
- Manage and optimize web applications critical to our operations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement SEO strategies and enhance online visibility.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Training and Documentation:
- Provide training to staff on the use of technology and new systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- BSc/BA in computer science, IT or relevant field; MSc/MBA in business will be a plus
- Professional certification (e.g. CompTIA A+) is an asset.
- Proven experience in IT support and management, preferably in a multi-location organization.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and cyber security.
- Familiarity with web development, SEO, and web application management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
