Job Description

Education

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in international development studies, gender/women’s studies, economics, political science, related social sciences, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development projects in conflict and post-conflict;
  • Technical experience in gender equality and the empowerment of women particularly in post-conflict and transitioning scenarios;
  • Experience in working with government, donors or UN agencies previously is an asset;
  • Proven track record in transitional justice including non-judicial reparations in the field of women, peace and security.

Language

  • Excellent command of written and oral English.
