UN-Habitat being the Executing Agency of Green Homes Project in Nepal funded by European Union under SWITCH Asia call for Sustainable Consumption and Production to promote Sustainable housing technologies and services to contribute towards mitigation climate change and reducing poverty through creating of green jobs and moving towards green economy. The project is implementing in three major cities of Nepal – Lalitpur, Pokhara and Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City. The Programme is seeking for professional and competent candidates to fill the following post.
Post: Impact Assessment Expert/Specialist – one position
Contract Type: Individual Contract (IC)
Duty Station: Kathmandu, Nepal
Duration: Two months
Starting Date: Mid October 2015
General Requirements:

Advanced university degree in management, social science or any other relevant university degree;

Minimum ten years professional experience in monitoring and evaluation process, urban issues preferably working in housing sector

Good understanding of project and results based management
-
Excellent written and spoken English and Nepali is required;

Excellent IT skill especially MSWord Processing, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and other Data analysis software;

Experience with UN mandate and programme management is encouraged;

Experience in working on the Habitat Agenda and dealing with Government agencies, municipalities NGOs, INGOs and UN agencies will be advantage.
