Job Title : Human Resources Manager
Department : Human Resources

Scope and General Purpose 

Under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer within the limits of TIANBO policies; oversee, direct and provide Human Resources functions and facilities for all employees in the property. To partner with functional leadership and management teams to develop and implement strategic and operational plans. Demonstrate leadership behaviors at all times and coach managers to do the same.Balance business needs with local regulations and corporate policy.

1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Functional leadership Team to establish strategic and operational directions for the business, define organizational design and structure to support current and future business needs
  • Strategic business partnering role to Functional Leadership Team and people managers to identify business and organization capability needs; development and implement business solutions and initiative to support business goals
  • Ensure successful deployment of the OD framework to build a high performing organization culture and set the foundation to develop organizational capabilities of people managers and employees to support business goals
  • Establish and implement HR strategies and directions to support business needs.
  • Recruit and hire all employees inclusive of all executive level positions.
  • Ensure all positions hold up to date Job Descriptions compiled by the relevant Department Head
  • Maintain a fully functioning Human Resources Department, including employment, screening, referrals, personnel record keeping, compensation and benefits, work permits and visa processing and as per the Human Resources Performance Standards
  • ​​​​​​​Be available for employees at all levels to advise, counsel and assist with problems or queries
  • ​​​​​​​Facilitates two-way dialogue between managers and employees through various media (eg.Employee Survey, Town Hall meeting etc)
  • ​​​​​​​Encourage a good standard of employee conduct and behavior and coordinate disciplinary and grievance procedure when necessary
  • ​​​​​​​Coordinate and encourage sports and social activities on a regular basis
  • ​​​​​​​Liaise with other Human Resources Managers maintaining strong information links for better decision making
  • ​​​​​​​Ensure Annual Performance Reviews are carried out for every employee at least once every 12 months and are in line with the TIANBO Performance Management Cycle and review all appraisals and follow up on development needs, if required
  • ​​​​​​​Talent sourcing and retention strategy
  • ​​​​​​​Take responsibility for training and development in Myanmar
  • ​​​​​​​Maintain up to date information as per the TIANBO HR Policy Manual and adhere to them respectively
  • ​​​​​​​Managing multiple sites a while developing and maintaining strong working relations with regional teams

2. General Responsibilities
