Job Description
Supervision: The Consultant will work under the direct supervision of the Human Resources and Administration Manager.
Duration of the assignment: Full time starting from 10 April 2017 to 30 June 2017.
Tasks and responsibilities:

Review Ipas Nepal’s current salary and benefits package.

Conduct a salary and benefits research with INGOs of Nepal and recommend a revised salary structure & benefits plan for Ipas Nepal.

Design compensation package for positions abolished/ staff who receive golden hand shake from the organization.

Review staff levels and titles. Recommend for revised country context specific titles that match the staff role and responsibility.

Review Ipas Nepal’s Human Resources Supplement and recommend areas for improvement.

Review Ipas Nepal staffs job descriptions, hold meetings with all staffs to review their current roles and responsibilities, recommend for revised job description aligning to their functions and prepare updated job descriptions.

Develop and design human resources plan for next three years FY18-20.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and other requirements:

Master’s degree in Management with specialization in human resources would be an advantage.

Working experience of 5 years or more in human resources especially with INGO in Nepal.

A good understanding of the human resources system of INGOs in Nepal and Nepali labor laws.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good communication and writing skills in English.
