The HR assistant has responsibility for these areas cited below:
Tasks includes setting appointments, arranging meetings, maintaining calendars and maintaining employee files and the HR filing system; answering questions, opening mail, receiving and transferring phone calls, creating and distributing documents and providing internal customer service
Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time
Dealing all enquires in professional and courteous manner, in person or the telephone or via e-mail
Other functions human resources assistants may fulfill includes analyzing training needs, developing curriculum and delivering courses
Develop and implement a formal training program and workflows for the LTC Claims in apprenticeship programs, on the job training, including administrative functions
Assess training needs for new and existing employees ;identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
Developing a calendar that details what type of training opportunities are being offered
Maintain employee training records; coordinate training schedules; handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Assisting with employee relations
Accomplishes human resources department and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Job Specification
Should have strong computer and interpersonal skills
