The position holder will be responsible for the project management and implementation of priority Human Resources projects across the Organization. The focus of these projects will be on the development and improvement of the Organization HR practice and service delivery. Projects will directly support the delivery of the staffs priorities in Organization including HR and OD strategy. The position holder will engage with the Executive and Leadership Team of Organization as key stakeholders in the development and implementation of new HR solutions.
In addition the position holder will engage with Managers, staff and their representatives in the Organization to drive forward performance improvement through identified change management projects. The role will have a high dependency on delivery through others in order to achieve sustainable change.
1. Have responsibility of project managing initiatives identified by the Director of HR and OD as part of the HR and OD Strategy and evaluating the impact of these projects on performance of the Organization
2. Coordinate and contribute to the design, development and implementation of change management projects that support the staffs priorities in Organization
3. Develop ‘fit for purpose’ best practice HR solutions that are internally and externally benchmarked
4. Effectively influence key decision makers, and ensure appropriate consultation, liaison and cross Organization working with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring communications are accurate and timely
5. Provide professional advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR Practice, Policy and Procedure, and legislation in a proactive and customer focused manner
6. Design and deliver staff training on HR policies and procedures and change management processes
7. Undertake the line management of the Information and E-Technology Advisor including the provision of support, identifying development needs and opportunities and managing performance in line with Organization HR Procedures
8. Prepare reports on key HR data in relation to the assigned projects in line with agreed schedules and ad hoc reports
9. To support the development of income generation opportunities to supplement the HR and OD budget including the potential for shared services
10. To contribute to the development and implementation of the Organization HR Strategy and the annual business planning process
