Health & Nutrition Officer based in Dhading Besi
The main purpose of this role is to promote and ensure health and nutrition activities in the Dhading Response Programme (DRP) are implemented properly and according to schedule, and comply with effective best practice by providing oversight, technical advice, training, coaching and other capacity building support to UMN partners staff and local beneficiaries.
Minimum qualifications:
• University level education to Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health/Community Nursing or related area • 2 years experience of working in community development, particularly health and nutrition • Experience of working with Partner organisations for the implementation of a programme • Familiar with Participatory tools and group mobilisation • Experience of facilitating training/workshops in rural settings • Good communication skills in both Nepali and English languages
