Meeting marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Review and analyze sales performances against plans to determine effectiveness.
Determining annual gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
Accomplishing marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
