GESI Officer (based in Kathmandu)
Key responsibilities: The incumbent will support the Senior Technical Advisor-GESI to design and implement the project’s GESI strategy and action plan. S/he will act as a focal point for knowledge and support on embedding protection, gender sensitive and transformative programming within the project. S/he will champion quality design, implementation and evaluation of programs to ensure the unique needs of women, men, girls, boys, minority groups and persons with disabilities are identified and responded by our programs (sensitive approach), and that inequality is challenged wherever possible (transformative approach).
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in gender studies or development studies and experience with organizational assessment
and development. At least 3 years working experience in gender sensitive programming.
