Established in 2001, Kangaroo Education Foundation (KEF) is an innovative and specialist educational consultancy service provider with its Head Office in Kathmandu/Putalisadak, a regional HQ office in Pokhara, and offices in Kathmandu/Chabahil, Chitwan, Birtamode and Butwal.
KEF has successfully provided student counseling, recruitment and enrolment services at reputed universities and colleges overseas for more than a decade. The KEF team members are dedicated and experienced professionals with years of experience in education, training, consulting and management. We are a forward-thinking company and employ and reward forward-thinking people. As a business, we believe in quality service and professional delivery. This is reflected in our company structure and policy which defines success via agreed key performance indicators that we are all accountable for.
KEF is primarily focused on Australia, working in close co-operation with Australian universities and colleges and operating as a Qualified Education Agent Counselor (QEAC). KEF is also one of the first five New Zealand Specialist Agents (NZSA) operating in Nepal recognized by Education New Zealand (ENZ), a government body that promotes New Zealand education worldwide.
In addition to Australia and New Zealand, KEF also provides counseling, recruitment and enrollment services to students for European universities and colleges in Ireland, the UK, The Netherlands and Switzerland.
With now six KEF offices in Nepal and one planned to open soon in Australia, we, as a company, are not only succeeding, we are growing, and we look forward to further national and international expansion in the coming years.
Duties and responsibilities
The General Manager (GM) is a senior role in the company. The GM oversees the management and day-to-day smooth running of the Head Office and company as a whole to ensure the provision of efficient services to its clients and stakeholders.
The General Manager is based at the KEF Head Office in Kathmandu and reports to the Managing Director unless stated otherwise. This is a full-time position.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all KEF offices.
Qualifications
Education
University degree in a related field / Masters Degree, preferably in Business Administration. Foreign degree an asset.
