GENDER AND SOCIAL INCLUSION SPECIALIST (TEMPORARY) (NPPP III)

Location : National Programme Support Office (NPSO), Kathmandu, NEPAL

Required Skills and Experience

Education:

  • S/he should have minimum of Master’s degree in social science or related field. Master degree in Gender and Development or Women Study would be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Should have minimum seven years experience in the relevant field, planning/designing, implementing, training, monitoring and evaluating GESI related activities;
  • In-depth knowledge on development and gender and social inclusion issues;
  • Must have demonstrated skills in training management and experience in capacity building relating to Gender and Social Inclusion;
  • Solid experience in GESI  strategic planning

Language requirement:

  • Fluency in both spoken and written Nepali and English languages is required.

Computer Skills:

  • S/he should possess understanding and knowledge of the basic computer systems such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Typing skill in Nepali language will be an added advantage.
