Main Duties
Customer Service
§ Provides a courteous and professional service at all times to all service seeker customers.
§ Reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up.
§ Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the company and the satisfaction of customer.
§ Diagnose the problem in the vehicle on its arrival.
§ Interact with service advisor in order to ascertain the exact customer concern.
§ Ensures that a job card is issued with details of the maintenance works to be carried out.
§ Plan and co-ordinate service activities, maintenance works and all workshop related activities.
§ Ensure that maintenance work to be performed is allocated to the concerned technician.
§ Ensures that all mandatory paperwork is carried out in a proper and accurate manner.
§ Ensures accurate time recording (clocking on and off) for all maintenance works as per the company guidelines of each service technician.
§ Ensures that all job operations are completed within given time following company’s / Manufacturer’s guidelines.
§ Prioritization of all maintenance work as per the needs of the customers, company’s senior officers.
§ Inform the service manager on any delays in the completion time of maintenance work specifying the proper reason.
§ Inform the service manager of any specific difficulties due to unavailability goods and equipments related to the maintenance work.
§ Ensure that all allocated maintenance work is completed in a standard time line.
§ Ensures that all technicians follow the service manual while executing duties and the specific work at all times.
§ Keep up to date with technical information and inform and train the technical team.
§ Should use his initiative and be supportive to the all staffs at all times.
§ Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes and trained the same to the service technicians.
§ Ensure that all power tools are handled in a proper and effective way.
§ Ensures enforce effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations while operating equipment related to all maintenance work.
§ Ensures timely completion of work orders as per the industry guidelines and the company standard.
§ Reports any abnormal conditions noticed at any time with tools and equipment related to the overall operation.
§ Assists other trade persons or technicians when requested by Superiors.

§ Responds to changes in function and procedures in all area of technical and maintenance works as per the guideline provided by the organization and the company.
§ Have through understanding of service manual and the guidelines of working procedures of the industry.
§ Puts forward suggestions to the management in relation to the Work Quality and
Work Performance.
§ Have an understanding of and adhere to the organization's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures related in operating machines and tools being used in the workshop.
§ Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
§ Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
