Finance/Operations Manager Mid Level

Job Description

ï‚· Nepali national

ï‚· First degree in business administration, or business studies or management with specialisation in finance or accounting;

ï‚· At least 5 years’ experience of working in finance and administration in NGOs or INGOs in Nepal;

ï‚· Sound knowledge of Nepal-specific finance, business administration and HR requirements;

ï‚· Sound knowledge of accounting procedures and principles;

ï‚· Excellent skills of operating Microsoft word and excel spread sheet;

ï‚· Fluency in English (written and spoken);

ï‚· Fluency in Nepali (written and spoken);

ï‚· A positive problem-solving approach;

ï‚· Good interpersonal and team-working skills;

ï‚· A willingness to promote the work of Saferworld and develop collaborative work with others;

ï‚· A commitment to working in a non-partisan manner;

ï‚· A commitment to learn and be open to new ideas and approaches;

ï‚· Demonstrated commitment to principles of transparency, accountability, and honesty;

ï‚· A Master’s degree or equivalent accounting qualification would be an advantage
