HERD International is seeking a Business development officer to be a member of the central team and to contribute to business development and research uptake functions in coordination with the business development unit.
Job Purpose:
Finance Officer will be expected to work as a part of the Operations and Support Unit. S/he will be a key and responsible person for financial and accounting matters of the organization. Finance Officer will carry out all financial and accounting works complying with the existing standard legal, statutory and organizational requirement. S/he will report to the Operations and Support Unit Head / Operations Manager and serve as a member of the Operations & Support team. This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the financial policy and norms execution. Working with the Operations and support team, Programme management team and Research, communication and M&E team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, planning, and practices.
