Key Responsibilities: Advise programme teams on resource integration options to meet match requirements of grants and on recovery of indirect and field ministry service costs for grants and private funding; Lead the development of the annual program team operating budget, monitor actual performance and develop project projections; Well managed grant budget; Prepare close-out documentation at end of funding cycles in compliance with government regulations, WVIN and the Donor; Liaise with appropriate partner offices regarding financial and accounting issues;
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: A post-graduate degree (Masters preferred) in Business, Accounting, Finance (CPA/ ACCA or other professional accreditation) or related field with at least 6 years of experience in financial and administrative management of large international development projects; Must be able to work with multiple deadlines and high demands; Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion; Work in an international/domestic relief and development organization is preferred; Experience in managing inter-agency consortiums is preferred.
Core competencies: Must have previous experience of managing USAID grants successfully; At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing and managing large and complex projects involving multiple partners, in/for developing countries; Excellent oral and written English & Nepali; Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office; Ready to take initiatives and willing to work under pressure and exhibit a high level of flexibility; Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently; Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking with decision making and problem solving skills; Good understanding of humanitarian Sector; Committed to World Vision Core Values and Mission Statement.
