Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Debtors and Creditors Management
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Manage all accounting transactions
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Research and reconcile all discrepancies
Auditing and verifying documents
Other duties as assigned
Job Specification
Should be Chartered Accountant: or a Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounts
Minimum five (5) to (6) years of proven experience in similar capacity in Manufacturing Company or Trading Company.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
Awareness of business trends
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
Have good knowledge of IRD, TDS and VAT return
Excellent Reporting and Analytical Skills
Excellent accounting software user
Accuracy and attention to detail
Hardworking, proactive and dedicated to work
Ability to work under pressure
