Finance and Administration Officer-based in Kathmandu

The Finance and Administration Officer (FAO) will be responsible for:

• Supporting the efficient, compliant and transparent management of finances for the Nepal programme;
• Implementing and monitoring finance and administration procedures.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or business studies or management with specialization in finance or accounting and experience of working in finance, administration and/or procurement in a relevant field in NGOs or INGOs. Sound knowledge of accounting procedures and principles and excellent Microsoft word and excel spreadsheet skills are key attributes. S/he should also have experience of using accounting software, preferably SUN and fluency in English and Nepali (written and spoken).
