Job Description

Key responsibilities:

This position is responsible to strategic guidance to field staffs and implementing partners to ensure the participation of marginalized groups (Women, Dalits, Poor, Marginalized Janajaties and ethnic and religious minorities) in program implementation and decision-making process. The incumbent is also responsible to support in advocacy functions especially to link micro, meso and macro issues for policy discourse and influence. Similarly, the incumbent is responsible to facilitate and develop district level livelihood improvement and economic empowerment related strategies and plans, community based adaptation plans in consultation with district team, partners, Government Line Agencies (GLAs) and CSOs for the smooth implementation of program interventions to achieve the set goal. The FC is fully responsible for overall administration, financial and human resource development, and management in the district/s. Besides, s/he will be responsible to document best practices and lessons learned and prepare quality progress reports at cluster/river-basin level and submit them to Project Office. S/he will also assist in project and mission level program activities as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor degree in Forestry or Natural Resource Management from a recognized university with at least 3-5 years of practical experience in the field of biodiversity conservation, natural resources management and climate change adaptation
