Job Description

Field Assistant (1 Position- Based in Gorkha):

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in life sciences from an accredited college or university and at least two years 'experience of working on community based livelihood projects at the field level.
  • Experience of working coordination with VDC and/or Gaon Palika level stakeholders is preferred. Skills on using basic MS Office is needed.
  • The primary role will be work closely with the implementing partners in Gorkha district and support in high quality implementation of livelihood activities in the field.
  • The key livelihood activities include establishment of farm demonstration plots, conducting farmer field schools, promotion of improved agricultural and goat rearing practices.
  • The Field Assistant will also help implementing partners in implementation of cash for work projects

USAID funded additional livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017.
