Fashion Designer Mid Level

Job Description

• Delivery of design samples
• Design of Bohemian, Funky, Street, Ethnic Fusion, Gothic wear for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter
• Visualization and presentation of theme
• Working in collaboration with Design & Sample Unit: sample fabrication including fitting, detailing, technical details and adaptation
• Working closely with international customers to develop new design samples
• Liaising closely with Sales and Production Units on an ongoing basis
• Exploring and sourcing new materials like fabric, trims, embellishments, appliqué ideas and fastenings
• Prioritize targets every day, and keep Design & Sample Unit on track

Job Specification

• Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends including fabrics, colours and shapes

• Working knowledge of design tools, like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop would be a plus
• Knowledge of product costing would be a plus
