Portfolio Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (“PMEL”)
Abt Associates is currently seeking Audit Firms for audit of Portfolio Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) project of FCDO’s Evidence for Development Programme. Nepal Portfolio Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (PMEL) is a programme delivered by Abt Associates, contracted by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office. Through PMEL, Abt provides technical assistance in the form of staff based both in Nepal and internationally. The purpose of PMEL is to support the British Embassy Kathmandu (BEK) office to more effectively leverage and use existing knowledge and evidence from across the office (and externally) to develop and deliver strategic learning at a whole-of-office level (i.e. at the portfolio).
The objective of the financial audit is to provide assurance that financial transaction during the reporting period is in accordance with the contract, relevant policies, GoN’s laws, by-laws and regulations. The preferred supplier will be required to undertake a robust financial audit of the PMEL with a primary focus on the statement of receipts and payments undertaken during the reporting period.
