Job Description
First established on Kartik 19th, 2064, Just One Nepal exists primarily to assist an ever-growing number of disadvantaged children to access the benefits of a wide range of educational opportunities - formal, non-formal, vocational or otherwise. As an apolitical, non denominational Non-Government Organisation, Just One Nepal strives to provide tailored-made sustainable solutions to the children we work with and, where possible, to extend this support towards their respective families also.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, passionate about social justice and inclusive development, knows how to be creative and persistent to achieve results, demonstrates consistent leadership and can work independently in a variety of changing circumstances.
The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience of securing funding from a range of institutional donors and direct experience of producing compelling project proposals and designing and implementing successful strategies.
Job Specification
Roles & Responsibilities:

Compile and maintain a database of international and local donor organizations (international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and private corporations offering donations)

Regularly monitor donor websites and identify and inform donor opportunities matching the work of the organization.

Produce and bid at least one fund proposal a week to donor organizations

Undertake independent research in finding alternative resources for long-term sustainability of the organization

Develop comprehensive plans to generate income from various sources.

Undertake online research and build contacts with potential individual donors and raise funds for the activities of the organization.

Maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization

Improve and develop communications material for the organization such as brochure, website, annual report, DVD, poster etc.

Organize or provide assistance in organizing any fundraising events for the organization

Suggest other innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization.
Required Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Core Competencies

Master’s Degree or it’s equivalent in social science or development administration.

Proven track record of succesful fundraising through proposal writing and/or organizing events.

Excellent communications skills in English (both verbal and written)
Salary and Benefits: Negotiable
Contract terms: 3 months with possibility of extension.
