Key responsibilities: The Emergency Response Manager will each be based in the districts assigned and will work under the direct supervision of the Emergency Response Coordinator for the emergency program in the West. The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating response activities through overall coordination and ensure successful implementation of emergency program in respective districts in close coordination with relevant stakeholders including government line agencies and like-minded NGOs in the district. A key part of the role will also consist of monitoring the relief activities in the area and reporting the same to the Emergency Response Coordinator for timely situation reports.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience. Experience of working with NRCS and Emergency Response is desirable.
