Job Description
Qualities and Responsibilities:
Play a key role in plant operation.
Smooth and Safe operation of all electrical equipment and instrument.
Timely maintenance of electrical equipment.
Maintenance of all electrical equipment and transmission (Grid) Line
Generators, Motors, lighting system etc maintenance
General maintenance of Telephone, computer, Fax and Photocopy machine.
Ensure energy efficiency in electrical equipment.
Perform breakdown analysis of the equipment.
Keep outage data on electrical failure.
Ensure availability of standby equipment and spare parts if needed.
Take preventive and corrective action for controlling non conformity of product, services and other activities.
DC supply system operation and maintenance.
General maintenance of Standby Generator.
Perform on call duty as per requirement.
Prepare plan and program as well as budget of own section.
Produces the following reports and other reports as and when required.
Daily Report.
Monthly Report.
Annual Report.
Enforcement of safety rules and standards during the execution of the works.
Job Specification
Qualifications : Diploma in Electrical Engineering or minimum 4 years apprentice certificate in Electrical discipline Experience : One year experience in relevant field (Hydropower plant and power system operation and maintenance) shall be given priority Skills : Familiar with MS Office Package (Word, Excel etc) and should be able to produce written reports.
