Job Description

  1. Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment, such as electric motors, communications systems, or power generation equipment. 
  2. Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
  3. Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
  4. Supervising or training project team members.
  5. Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
  6. Maintaining electrical equipment.
