Job Description

Scope and General Purpose

Under the guidance of the EHS and Quality Manager Manager, and focus on implementing Company’s comprehensive safety programs.

1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews the site practices and conditions on a consistent basics for implementation of policies and procedures.
• ​​​​​​​Interaction with hourly employees to support safety processes and affect the culture of safety at the facility.
• ​​​​​​​Hazard identification/Risk Reductions Activities.
• ​​​​​​​Provide Coaching and training to employees at all levels of the organization.
• ​​​​​​​Investigate incidents and analyse trends, work closely with Human Resources Department to work through root cause of injuries.
• ​​​​​​​Ensure all Employees compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
• ​​​​​​​Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
• ​​​​​​​Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
• ​​​​​​​Report on health and safety awareness and issues to all Concerned Department Heads and Human Resources.

2. General Responsibilities

• ​​​​​​​Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and high standard of social skills.
• ​​​​​​​Promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
• ​​​​​​​Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and promote a good company image to clients and colleagues.
• ​​​​​​​Demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the company thus identifying a high level of commitment.
• ​​​​​​​Adhere to Company rules and regulations at all times.
