Oxfam has been working in Nepal since the 1980s, addressing the poverty and injustice faced by women and other socially excluded groups. Since April 25, 2015 Oxfam is also implementing Earthquake Response Programme. Oxfam is responding in these areas: Gorkha, Nuwakot, Dhading, Sindhupalchowk, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. We are urgently looking for dynamic team players in the following positions for our response programme.
EFSVL (Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihoods)Team Leader - (Re-advertisment)
Level: C2
Duration: One year fixed term contract until March 2017
Location: Nuwakot

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will require leading or participating in the preparation, planning and implementation of EFSVL activities in relevant district. You will also require to lead and participate in the technical analysis of the food security situation within the team and develop strong positive relations with partner organizations.
Requirements for the role:
Masters’ degree or equivalent in food security & livelihoods discipline (rural development, agronomy or relevant field of study). Proven minimum 5 years of field experience as an emergency food security or livelihood specialist
