EFSVL (Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihoods) Officer

Location: Sindhupalchok
Job Role: The position will require supporting implementation of Oxfam Food Security and Early Livelihood's Recovery, including long term rehabilitation activities in earthquake affected areas of Nepal. S/he will be responsible to build the capacity of Partner staff and community livelihood committees to implement the EFSVL programme through training workshops, on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring. Areas of focus are likely to include holding community meetings, social mobilization, price surveillance monitoring, and other processes.
Requirement for the Role: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in food security & livelihoods discipline (rural development, agriculture or relevant field of study) with proven 2 years of relevant experience preferably in similar position (programme support, field-experience) with good coordination and communication skill.
