Job Description
This is a supervisory role to operate, maintain and support Electronic Cheque Clearing System (NCHL-ECC) and/or Interbank Payment System (NCHL-IPS). He/She shall operate the business applications, maintains related systems, monitors databases and provides trainings to the end users. He/She shall work closely with other departments/ functions, member BFIs and NRB for providing necessary supports.
Job Specification
University degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ IT or relevant field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience with not less than 1 year of experience in implementation or operation of payment and/or banking applications.
Experience in NCHL-ECC and NCHL-IPS systems with understanding of its Operating Rules, Operating Procedures and NRB circulars.
Good at Unix/Linux/Windows OS, Oracle databases, web applications, network technologies.
Exposure in Web Services, XML, Message Queue, FTP, financial messaging.
Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.

Electronic Cheque Clearing (NCHL-ECC) System provides means to electronically transfer cheque images through a secure medium thus completely replacing the traditional physical routine of moving paper-cheques among the banks and clearing house, which has resulted in significant reduction of tedious and time consuming manual process of cheque clearing, both for the banks and for the customers.
