Job Description:
Under the supervision of Project Coordinator, Documentation Officer will be responsible for documenting the cases related to the destination and origin country referred by partner organizations and PNCC network.
Duties and responsibilities :
ï‚· Responsible for documentation of all the cases referred by various sources and networks and support to registered the data into online system.
ï‚· Responsible for preparing the case studies with receiving frequent information and support to analysis the cases as needed.
ï‚· Work in close coordination with case support officer and other staffs for the systematic documentation of the case
ï‚· Support in developing of the formats for the documentation of the case
ï‚· Support to project coordinator for preparing the work plan, reporting, IEC materials and other relevant documents related with the project.
ï‚· Work in close coordination with project team and assist the project coordinator in all documentation activities related to the project.
Required qualification, experience and competencies:
ï‚· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/ Law/ Human right and related field.
ï‚· Minimum 3 -5 years of experiences of of documenting human rights violation cases and related project activities with report writing
ï‚· Good analytical skills, documentation skills, communication skill and reporting skill with strong capacity in Nepali and English
ï‚· Knowledge of migration and human rights issue will be an advantage
ï‚· Result oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain deadlines
ï‚· Knowledge of computer i.e word, excel, power point and SPSS

PNSS was established to rescue distressed migrant workers in Saudi Arabia. Few years later, realizing need of an organization that can coordinate between migrant workers in Nepal and in the destination countries and among the stakeholders, Pravasi Nepali Coordination Committee (PNCC) got established and registered in 2009. Pravasi Nepali Coordination Committee derives its name from words from English and Nepali, where Pravasi literally means 'Immigrant'.
