Practical Action is an INGO which aims to reduce poverty through wider use of appropriate technologies in developing countries. It works in more than 45 countries through its offices in Bangladesh, Bolivia, India, Kenya, Nepal, Peru, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Zimbabwe. Practical Action seeks to recruit a 'District Project Officer'.
Graduate degree in relevant discipline (preferably MBA/Civil Engineering) with at least three year of relevant work experience in project implementation, monitoring and coordination is required. Prior experience in supply chain management and market system development will be preferred.
Reporting to the Project Manager, s/he will lead the project district level activities of the Reconstruction project in Nuwakot and Rasuwa. This includes backstopping the project implementation and fostering coordination with the project stakeholders at district and local level.
