Nepal CRS Company (Nepal CRS) is a not-for-profit organization engaged in social marketing of family planning, maternal child health and other health products in Nepal. Its mission is to improve the national health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services. Nepal CRS is looking for:
Director-Finance
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (initially for 1 year)

Duty Station: Nepal CRS, Head Office, Tokha - Kathmandu
Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for managing all financial & accounting processes to ensure financial discipline, effectiveness of accounting operations, matters pertaining to taxation and audit as well as organization compliance with legal and statutory provisions for overall business.
This is a senior management position that reports to the Managing Director and is primarily responsible for managing all financial resources and plays a pivotal role in managing and strengthening overall financial well- being of the organization.
Minimum Qualification: MBA in Finance or an equivalent Degree
Preferred/Additional Qualification: CA/CFA/CWA
Minimum Experience: 10 years’ financial management experience with at least 5 years’ experience of heading the finance function of a domestic/international organization
Preferred/Additional Experience: Working experience in donor financing

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
