Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Make lists of receivable accounts and make sure that accurate information is available in them
Create client name, address and telephone number lists for ease of calling or sending letters
Call up clients to provide them information regarding outstanding balances in their accounts
Create correspondence addressed to receivable account holders to provide notices and ultimatums
Determine the debts that are not collectable and either write them off or inform authorities for intervention purposes
Monitor payments to ensure that each receivable account holder is held to his or her promise of repayment
Perform data entry duties relating to entering information on payments and receivables in clients’ accounts
Create and submit periodic reports about collections and write-offs

Job Specification

Requirements:

At least Bachelors degree
Freshers are encouraged to apply
Prior experience in a related field will be given preference
Attention to detail
Excellent Communication skills
Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
