Key responsibilities:
The Data Management Officer is primarily responsible for maintaining, updating and analyzing all data
in close coordination with the Project Manager (PM) for the tipping point project. S/he supports the PM
in the development/management of data base and analysis of data to ensure effective monitoring,
evaluation and learning from programs with a focus on outcomes and impacts and quality and
innovation. Support the Tipping Point M&E specialist in the roll out of the global MIS system for the Nepal
team.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in management, statistics, social research, development studies or a related field with
minimum 2 years relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience in
developing/using database, compiling monitoring, evaluation learning information, analyzing data.
Previous experience in recording and compiling data, synthesizing and generating evidence and
analyzing and compilation of data from multiple sources required. Experience in M&E and/or data
management in various development sectors would be an asset
