Masters Degree in relevant field such as monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, international development, research, social science and analysis, or equivalent; ideally with a strong focus on social research and learning.
Experience:
At least 7 years relevant experience in M&E demonstrating impact through quantitative and qualitative data or equivalent combination of academic research and knowledge management experience/background.
Skills and knowledge:
Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and if possible in Nepali too
Excellent interpersonal, communication, training and facilitation skills
Excellent idea and experience of process design and establishing/strengthening systems for knowledge and data management
Very strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of, and experience in using, different qualitative and quantitative research, monitoring and evaluation tools, practices and techniques to assess project and programme impact and generate knowledge management and learning
Computer skills, including knowledge of relevant software e.g. Microsoft office applications (SPSS or related software would be an advantage)

Organization Summary
CARE Nepal, like any other International Non Government Organization (INGO) in Nepal, operates through a basic agreement with Social Welfare Council, Government of Nepal that allows it to implement various community development projects and programs in the country.
