This is an excellent opportunity for a Contract Manager to join Daelim-Kyeryong Joint Venture, a reputable EPC contractor in worldwide on large scale civil projects. This is a site based role and your role will be to lead the contract team through to project completion.
Project Details:
Upper Trishuli-1 Hydro Electric Project(216MW) at Trishuli River of Rasuwa District, Nepal
The form of contract: Engineering, Procurement, and Construction(EPC)/ Duration: 60 Months
Post: Contract Manager, Number of Position : One
1. Requirements
Civil engineer / higher education with a minimum of 10 years experience in contracts management
Exposure to EPC environments
Knowledge of Legal and contractual laws governing projects
Knowledge of technical and commercial disciplines related to Hydro projects is preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills in English
Claims preparation and presentation skills
2. Job Responsibilities
Take a lead role in commercial and contract management of a large civil engineering project
To conduct meetings in relation with the commercial matters and prepare minutes of meetings,
To coordinate and solve the contractual matters with the Owner and Subcontractors (Italy, China, etc.,)
Manage & prepare any letters, documents relevant to commercial / contract / insurance / claims issues, etc.
Communicate with other teams within the project providing commercial advice when required
