Context:
IOM Nepal in coordination with National TB Center has been implementing the TB REACH project to cater the TB related services within the pre-departure health assessment process of labour migration program by establishing the TB care and prevention accessible to aspiring migrants with abnormal chest x-ray results. To evaluate the impact of artificial intelligence in early and improved detection of tuberculosis among the predominantly asymptomatic aspiring migrant population screened from different private health assessment centers of Nepal, the project has planned for the quasi experimental study in selected health assessment centers. IOM Nepal is seeking for a full time consultant qualified in the field of public health research to provide support in conducting the aforementioned study. S/he will be responsible to provide support in drafting proposal for ethical approval, research protocol and data collection tools, data management by mobilizing two dedicated data assistant and in coordination with IOM project team and finally draft a report and manuscript. S/he will also be responsible to provide technical support to conduct pre-and post-test of trainings, and technically oversee interval scale implementation effectiveness study outsourced to independent individual/research firms in line with a set of process indicators of the project.
