FHI 360, an international NGO, requests applications from qualified individuals to work as a consultant for a range of activities relating to policy review, analysis and assessments. Separate assignments under separate consultancy agreements include support in reviewing and analyzing few Acts relating to fundamental rights; assessment of National Human Rights Action Plan implementation; and assessment of state obligation relating to reporting and responding under various international treaties and human rights processes.
Consultant:
The consultants will be responsible to analyze select Acts relating to fundamental rights to assess compatibility with the international standards and the guarantees ensured by the Constitution. Likewise, under two other separate consultancy agreements, the consultants will assess the status of the reporting and responding compliance by the Government of Nepal in line with its obligation pursuant to different international treaties and conventions; and the status of implementation of national human rights action plan.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in law and/or other social sciences with experience in areas of human rights, public policies, policy advocacy and capacity to convene different government and nongovernment actors.
