Role overview
Manage overall implementation of PRAYAS Project in partnership with consortium partners providing visionary strategic leadership, expertise and high quality services to assure desired quality outcome in closed coordination with the funding agency and networking with concerned stakeholders.

Essential criteria (must have to be able to carry out the role successfully)
Knowledge/qualifications:
Masters degree (preference will be given to social science with focus on governance promotion and organizational development)
Experience:
• Programme Management: At least 5 years’ experience of program management on youth empowerment and CSO capacity enhancement.
• Partnership Management: Previous experience of managing partners of diverse nature mainly working experience of engaging youth led CSOs.
• People Management: Previous experience of line management of project team members
• Financial Monitoring: Experience of successfully monitoring and managing budgets.
Skills/Abilities:
Project Delivery: Previous skill of planning and managing projects in youth empowerment, climate change and disaster risk management with multiple stakeholders, delivering expected benefits in challenging contexts.
Organisation and planning: Excellent coordination and planning skills with experience of working under pressure.
Relationship Building: Ability to build effective working relationships within project teams, consortium partners, inspiring confidence and credibility. Ability to work effectively across the local government, as per changing federal context including other national and global forum to utilize the available networks, capable to strengthen relationship with local government authorities and expertise for the effective implementation of project.
Capacity Development: Able to coordinate capacity building of youth led CSOs in the areas of internal good governance promotion, organizational development, youth empowerment and social accountability.
Travel requirement: Able to travel in project areas in country and internationally occasionally and spend time away from work- base location and home.

Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in internal and international community with ability to vary communication content and style to suit audiences to inform, motivate and inspire.
Time management skills: prioritization skills, decision making skills, focus of the program, coping skills etc.
Analysis and creative problem-solving: Ability to analyse and quickly grasp the fundamentals of a need or issue. Able to find innovative ways of solving cross cutting problems.
Flexibility: Ability to manage a project in a changing context, recognising and being open to ambiguity, uncertainty and opportunities.

Financial and Risk Management – Sound knowledge of financial and risk management skills
