Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
Min 2-3 years of prior Sales and/or Events Management Experience within a 4-5 star hotel
Min Bachelor's degree and have a strong command of Nepali and English. Additional languages are a plus
Must have in-depth knowledge of the MICE market in the country and will be solely responsible for benchmarking standards of venues, our offerings as well as our products and experiences
As this is a project opening with our new venues, the candidate will be working to establish sales collaterals, menus, web content & standard operating procedures in close co-ordination with the Exec Chef, F&B Director and Dir of Sales
Flexible with schedule and a hands-on operational leader. This is not an administrative gam-5pm role with weekends off. Candidate will be responsible for events hence maybe required to work past 5 pm and on weekends when necessary
Must have working knowledge of computer i.e. e-mails, excel, word, cost calculations, ability to read and analyze sales/cost reports
This position requires exceptional planning, communication and co-ordination skills. The role will also involve negotiations, handling obstacles and problem solving
