Duties and Responsibilities:
S/he will primarily be responsible for preparing the communication/media materials such as for Newsletters, brochures, multimedia contents, website for Company and its program. S/he will collect success stories performed on field, edit it and disseminate it to broader audience through newsletter and leaflets. S/he will regularly update CRS website and make it very interactive and resourceful for varied audiences of CRS. S/he will support the team in producing high quality communication/media materials, publications, multimedia-contents and proof read and translation of key policies ensuring the brand in each of its publications.
Job Specification:
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in media and communications or relevant field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experiences particularly in development communications/media field, especially in creating compelling messages for different targeted audiences. I/NGO work experience is preferred.
Key Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent writing skills (both Nepali & English)
Handling of development communication
Handling and dealing with media (esp. for print, TVC, radio etc.)

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
