Cluster Medical Lead Doctor (Suitably qualified medical doctor, based at Butwal)
Job Responsibilities:
Your role will be to be the clinical manager for the medical team working in Butwal cluster. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating field visits to ageing and vulnerable pensioners and dependents in remote areas and deliver high quality primary care. You will be based at Butwal welfare centre but will be travelling regularly to deliver face-to-face consults with pensioners at remote welfare centres and their homes as well as train and monitor the clinical teams. Therefore; majority of the work will be field visits, providing primary care. You will be required to support the teams in the region by frequent phone call consultations and advice. You will have the opportunity to maintain clinical skills with regular patients consultation in the city (Butwal) welfare centre.
Minimum Qualifications:

Must have qualified as a Medical Doctor (MBBS).

Additional Post Graduate qualifications are desirable (MD in GP or Internal Medicine).

Must be registered with Nepal Medical Council (NMC).
Required Background & Experience:

Minimum of five years of work experience with Govt/Private hospitals/Health Posts/Centres.

Experience in working in remote areas with Government/international organizations preferable.

Experience in coaching, teaching, mentoring and managing clinical staff is highly desirable.

Experience in working/consulting elderly patients and chronic diseases desirable.

REMUNERATIONS
We offer competitive salaries with Provident Fund, Gratuity and one-month's pay as festival bonus. Medical cover as per GWT(N) regulations. The above jobs are offered for 2 years initially and may be extended on the basis of performance and need. Interviews for all positions will be in English.
