The Employment Fund (EF), a program funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal, invites applications from Nepali citizen for the following position:
Position: Civil Overseer (3 positions under short-term contract basis)
Duty Station: Cluster Office of EF-SR Gorkha, Sindhupalchowk and Ramechhap
Duration: Till December 2016 with possibility of extension
Job purpose: Supervise skills training and transfer of skills in building construction in the project districts and monitor the progress and quality of the ongoing construction work.
Reporting to: Cluster Coordinator, Work closely with Engineering Unit of EF-SR
Required Education and Experiences:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of work experiences in the relevant area with strong understanding of permanent housing using EQ resilient technology and National Building codes (NBC).
