Civil Engineer

Job Description

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small scale through to large scale construction projects in safe, timely and sustainable manner.
• Discussing requirements with the client and other professionals.
• Analyzing survey, mapping and materials-testing data.
• Selecting tools and materials.
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries.
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Assessing and minimizing risk
• Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
• Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project
• Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification
• Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
• Preparing record drawings, technical reports, site diary.
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
• Maintaining Legal compliance of the project.

Job Specification

• Ability to think methodically, to design, plan and manage projects
• Strong in interpersonal skills
• Have sound knowledge in AutoCAD, RISA, SAP
• 2+ years of experience in a construction company
