Conduct technical assessments for housing, irrigation and WASHrelated infrastructures
Coordinate with the Shelter and WASH and other cluster members and government stakeholders to proceed with most effective intervention for LWF.
Ensure beneficiaries are consulted and their views taken into account at all stages of the program.
Ensure shelter, irrigation and WASH infrastructures are constructed with government approved guidelines and standards.
Work closely with project team to orient and facilitate at community level.
Provide continuous feedback to local technical persons on shelter, irrigation, WASH construction.
Provide quality supervision and support to any field level technical staff and local partner staff.
Ensure measurement books are kept updated
Prepare technical reports
Prepare work completion report
Ensure the construction work is done in line with approved design, BoQ and Specifications
Maintain documentation and prepare periodic reports
Other duties as assigned
Job Specification
Experience of working in DRR and Emergency Response is preferred.
Cooperative and hardworking, able to work with stress
Communication skills (fair in English and good in Nepali)
Patient and positive attitude
Able to stay/work in remote areas
