• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty
• Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
• Helping the Sous chef and Executive Chef to develop new dishes and menus
• Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene.
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
• Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
• Follow the guidance of the Executive or Sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
• Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.
• Education Level : Relevant Academic background
• Must have prior Culinary experience [ minimum 5-6 years] within a star rated hotel or large volume restaurant operation
• Must be flexible with schedule and be able to work any and all shifts within a 24 hour operation
• Must have Multi Cuisine Experience
